There’s something to be said for nostalgia and, this spring, Daryl Kerrigan’s got it. Her Daryl K collection glanced back to her early designs, pre-Pegasus debacle in 2000. There’s even a ruched sleeveless dress that echoes a fall 1998 runway number worn by Bridget Hall. “I’m going back to the roots of the line,” she said, “and moving away from all that feminine dressing to something more athletic and androgynous.” Case in point: her softened-up take on the suit, with its slouchy jacket and cozy drawstring pants.
