Simon Doonan and Jonathan Adler, Helen and Tim Schifter, Waris Ahluwalia and Chiara Clemente were taking whiffs of more than just the French cuisine at Manhattan’s La Grenouille on Wednesday night.

That’s because the dinner, which was hosted by Princess Alexandra of Greece and Vogue’s Hamish Bowles, was held in honor of perfumer Frdric Malle and his new fragrance, Dans Tes Bras, French for “in your arms.” The unisex scent arrived on shelves last month and will be sold exclusively at Barneys New York.
